Sheldon Zitman

Sheldon A Zitman, MD has been serving the Santa Clara Valley for the last forty years and joined Blue
Hills Medical Group in 1984. Dr. Zitman did his undergraduate education in biology at Saint Joseph’s
College of Philadelphia. He received his medical degree from Temple University of Philadelphia
in 1974. He completed his Family Practice residency Indian Health Services, PHS Hospital, San
Carlos, AZ and Keams Canyon AZ in 1978. He then became board certified in Family Medicine in 1978,
and has sub-specialties in Pediatrics, Allergy and Asthma, and disaster planning. He is upstanding member
of American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a clinical professor at Stanford, and has been teaching there
for twenty years.

Dr. Zitman enjoys living in the Bay Area with his wife Diana, spending time with his children and
grandchildren. They are supporters of the arts and they attend many playhouses, they
love to travel, and he enjoys all local Bay Area sports teams and is San Jose Sharks season ticket

Dr. Zitman, affiliated with El Camino Mt View Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, and El Camino Los Gatos
Hospitals and O’Connor hospital.


Dr. Zitman will be leaving the practice on May 27th, 2021.

B. Sofia Jalilie, MD

B. Jalilie, MD, is a board-certified family physician who has been serving patients of all ages at Blue Hills Medical Group in Cupertino, California, since 1997.

Dr. Jalilie earned her undergraduate degree in nutrition science from the University of California, Davis. In 1993, she graduated with her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine at San Bernardino County Medical Center in San Bernardino, California.

Passionate about family medicine, Dr. Jalilie enjoys supporting her patients as they grow from children into adults. She prioritizes preventive medicine for children, teens, and adults, and offers care for both acute and chronic conditions.

Dr. Jalilie is a first-generation American, and she understands the unique benefits and challenges of growing up biculturally. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and she also speaks limited French.

Dr. Jalilie is affiliated with the El Camino Hospitals in Mountain View and Los Gatos, California, and Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California. She is an upstanding member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

In her spare time, Dr. Jalilie loves traveling the world and tasting wine with her husband, David. She also enjoys cheering on her favorite Bay Area sports teams.

Aradhana Kar, MD

Aradhana Kar MD joined Blue Hills Medical Group in 2005. Dr. Kar graduated medical school from S. C.
B. Medical College Cuttack, India September of 1996. She did her residency at University Pittsburg
Medical Center and St. Francis Medical Center of Pittsburg.


She became board certified in Internal Medicine in 2004 and is an upstanding member of the American Academy of Internal Medicine Physicians.

She enjoys all aspects of medicine but she especially enjoys working with diabetic patients and controlling their A1C levels. Dr. Kar said if she did not have the passion to help patients she would have chosen a career in Astronomy. We sometimes can catch her looking at the stars, moon, and sun especially when it is a Solar Eclipse day.

Dr. Kar enjoys living in the Bay Area with her husband Sunil, and their two children. They enjoy traveling
and their love of dogs. Their dog, Mr. Snuggles, occasionally makes visits to greet patients at the office.
